Orientation is required for graduation for any undergraduate student that is coming to the Chicago campus for the first time. We require students to clear their schedules for the entirety of Orientation in order to complete the requirements necessary to pass Orientation.

Any exceptions must be approved by the Associate Dean of Students, Rachel Puente. If you wish to discuss any special circumstances regarding your attendance at Orientation, please contact her at or (312) 329-4106.

Married Students: If you have made arrangements for on-campus housing, you may have a different move-in date that you have negotiated with the Assistant Dean of Housing. You will still need to be available on check-in day to receive your new student packet and to meet with departments.
