Financial Information

Tuition and Fees

Students are responsible for the full balance of their bill.  Full payment or enrollment in the payment plan is due on or before August 1.  A typical bill will include the cost of tuition, room, board, and student fees. The estimated average out-of-pocket cost per semester is $6,100-$7,300, not including medical insurance, and textbooks. For off-campus students, the estimated average out-of-pocket cost per semester is $1,250. Off-campus housing is also not included in the cost for commuter students. Please note the FAFSA is required to receive Moody's full-tuition grant.

To estimate your costs per semester, please view the Fees List. Please be advised that this list may reflect the fees for the current year and are subject to change for the next academic year.

A complete list of Tuition and Fees is found in the Undergraduate Student Catalog.

Payment in Full

Balances are due in full August 1 for the fall semester unless enrolled in the payment plan. A $25 late fee will be charged monthly for accounts who have an outstanding balance and are not enrolled in the payment plan.

Moody Payment Plan

The payment plan allows students to divide the semester's cost of school into monthly payments due on the fifth or twentieth of each month (July through November for fall, December through April for spring, May to June for summer). There is a non-refundable $60 enrollment fee per semester. For details about the Payment Plan, please visit http://www.moody.edu/chicago/tuition/.

At Teller Services, students may cash personal checks up to $50 provided the student's financial obligations to Moody are in satisfactory condition. A personal check is a check a student writes to himself/herself drawn on the student's personal checking account. Checks for cash should be made payable to "cash." Moody student payroll checks may also be cashed at the teller window.

Please Note:

If students are expecting institutional scholarships, outside scholarships, or loans to help cover their balance and it is not awarded by Moody's due date, students are still responsible for making payments on time for the amount due.
