Class Registration

  • As a new student, your academic advisor will register you for your first-semester classes in June.
  • If you wish, you may also register yourself for your first-semester schedule prior to June.
  • If you choose to register yourself, note that transcript evaluation is a thorough process that may not be completed until June. Therefore, as registration opens, it is recommended that you register for Moody classes that likely will not transfer (e.g. If you have taken an English Composition class, you should not enroll in College Writing).
  • An Academic Advisor will notify you of any eligible transfer credits once your transcripts have been evaluated.

Moody has two options for paying your bill.

Paying in Full

  • Pay in full is due by August 1.

  • You may sign up for the payment plan option through your Nelnet portal.
  • $60 non-refundable enrollment fee (Bank account, Debit, or Credit card) will be charged per semester.
  • A down payment is required upon payment plan enrollment, all down payments are processed immediately.

Contact or call 312-329-4223 with any questions concerning payment plan enrollment or payment dates.

More Information

  • Students must be paid in full or be current with payments on the payment plan to be able to move into the residence hall and/or begin classes for the semester.
  • Accounts are subject to late fees, and past due holds if they are not paid in full by the pay in full (PIF) deadline or enrolled in the payment plan. Enrolling in the payment plan after the PIF deadline does not negate the late payment fees.
  • Students are responsible for the full balance of their bill.  Full payment or enrollment in the payment plan is due on or before August 1.  A typical bill will include the cost of tuition, room, board and students fees. The estimated average out-of-pocket cost per semester is $6,100-$7,300. Please note the FAFSA is required to receive Moody's full-tuition grant.
