Registration for Classes
New students should consider the following guidelines while registering for classes:
- Students are required to register for their own classes each semester through their my.moody.edu portal. However, new students will not be able to register earlier than May 1st.
- Students will be able to make adjustments to their schedules, as needed, up until the following registration deadlines:
- 16 Weeks/Modular Classes -> 6 days after the class session starts
- 8 Week Classes (On-Campus) -> The Friday prior to the course start date
- 8 Week Classes (Online) -> 1 week prior to the start of the class

- Registration should follow the Program Plans whenever possible.

Academic Credit Evaluation
Students wishing to receive transfer credit or advanced standing credits must submit their official transcripts within their first semester of enrollment at Moody Theological Seminary. Students will receive information from their academic advisor on how to request transfer credits once their transcripts have been received. Once admitted to an academic program, a student must take all courses at Moody Theological Seminary and Graduate School.
Students submitting international transcripts will be required to have a course-by- course evaluation from World Education Services (Wes.org or 212-966-6311). Education Credential Evaluators (ece.org or 414-289-3400), or any current member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. A list of members may be found at naces.org/members.
MBI graduates and previous MTS students do not need to fill out the form to have their previous Moody credit evaluated.

We encourage students to wait until they have arrived on campus to purchase their course textbooks. Students can use their moody.edu email to sign up for Amazon Prime Student, which gives students a free 6-month trial for two-day shipping.
